Sound System Hire Simplified

Every event is different, so needs a tailored sound system. AudioArchitects will take care to understand the size and audio characteristics of your venue, the size and density of your audience and the audio content to advise on which sound system would be the best match so that you get the very best sound. We are a local company and specialise in small events ranging from 50 to 500 people including systems for Bands, DJs or just your favourite party playlist. A good sound system makes all the difference to an event.

Use the contact form at the bottom of this page and we will get in touch to match you up with the right gear.

1. Choose the right Front of House Sound System (PA)

Whether you are making a speech to a small audience, playing an acoustic set or a nine piece band playing a festival getting the right sound system is essential. Audioarchitects will recommend the right systems for you based on their experience but you can see some of the options available below in "Front of House PA".

2. Choose the stage monitoring for the performers

Next, you may want to add stage monitoring so that your performers can hear exactly what they need to hear to perform at their best. For a small venue like a pub you might not need anything but as the venue or audience grow stage monitoring becomes more of an essential need. Many professional performers will expect good stage monitoring.

3. Choose a mixing option

Finally, choose the mixing option to suit the size and complexity of the performance, the degree of processing and control you need over the sound and the needs of the performers. We have both Analogue and Digital mixers ranging in size from 12 to 44 channels.

Front of House PA

First choose a PA option to suit the size of your venue, the number of people and the style of the music. Martin Audio speakers are extremely powerful and can achieve similar sound level pressure as other manufacturers’ physically larger speakers in a much smaller footprint which puts more of the focus on your performers rather than the boxes. Martin Audio speakers are make from wood, not plastic and will therefore give your band a far superior deep and punchy sound.

Typically the bigger the venue or the more people you have the bigger the PA you need. Rock and electronic dance music will need a bigger PA than an acoustic guitar duo.

Stage Monitoring

Depending on the needs of your performers you can optionally select stage monitors to provide foldback sound direct to your performers. For a small PA setup in a small room there may be no need for stage monitors at all. When performing with larger PAs, performers will need stage monitors to ensure they hear what they need to perform at their best. The options for stage monitoring are listed below.
